Making The Case for Youth Ministry…
The basic question for any Christian is whether or not each person they meet are a lost soul, spiritually separated from God and at risk of eternal separation from their only source of all mercy, love, and grace. If we as Christians acknowledge the risk of eternal separation from God, then how much more does it matter to God? And don’t you think that if it matters that much to God He would want them to hear the message of good news that His Son (Jesus) died and rose again to remove the sin that separates them from Him?
Can you being a Christian who has loved the Lord and His Word, articulate the good news of the gospel in such a way that the lost believes in the message and reconciled to God; or at the very least believe you do? This view of God, Jesus, and the Gospel should be the basic thought of every believer along with urgency to get this message to as many people as possible.
We’re God’s instrument through whom those who are lost learn of His grace by faith in Jesus Christ. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and not of yourselves, it is the gift of God” – Ephesians 2:8
Our Ministry Mission’s Focus..
With the ever shrinking pool of role models we see an even greater need to minister. We believe that one of the greatest neglects of any Christian group, ministry, or person is the lack of urgency to bring the good news to people without Christ Jesus in their life. For the lost, they may be the key that opens their heart to God.

Our focus and priorities to our youth will greatly intensify each coming year. Our main purpose to our young people will be similar to that of Paul and Timothy. Just as it was the custom with Paul it too will be our fervent prayer that they will discipline themselves for the purpose of sharing Jesus… [2Timothy 2:15]
John 3:16
Jesus had a passion that drove Him to make the way of salvation known in spite of rejection, suffering, and ultimately the cross. He declared His desire for us to share His heart for lost people when He said, “As the Father has sent Me, I also send you” – John 20:21
How We Conclude…
It is our hope and prayer that God will open their eyes to wonderful witnessing opportunities when they develop a heart for sharing Jesus through the process they’ve learned:
- Developing a passion for lost people
- Learning to lean on God’s promises in prayer
- Taking steps to fulfill a partnership with God
- Trusting in the power of the Holy Spirit
- Preparing one’s self to share Jesus
